There is no truth whatsoever to this letter that is being circulated on social media claiming that the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Hon Murtala Sule Garo has been relieved from his position by His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR, which was said to be signed by me.

My position remains the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor and not Senior Special Assistant, and as such the letter is fake news and should be disregarded. It is indeed the work of mischief makers.
