Pillars sign 11 players for new NPFL season

KANO Pillars have signed 11 new players for the 2021/22 season of the Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Pillars media officer, Idrsi Malikawa, in a statement on Sunday, said the club registered a total of 32 players, which had old and new players for the new season.

The club secured the services of: Saidu Salisu from Akwa United, Gabriel Jeremiah, Ugochukwu Nwachukwu from Cyprus, Isma’il Nasir from Nasarawa United, Mark Daniel from Warri Wolves and Yusha’u Garba from Katsina United.

Isah Usman from Rarara Football Club, Taro Oluwaseun from Smart City, Usman Maidubji from Plateau United, Wisdom Ikechi from Bayelsa United, Muhsin Attahiru from Sokoto United also joined the Kano-based side.

According to Malikawa, Emeka Onyema from Nasarawa United and Madaki Dauda from Enugu Rangers are still on the verge of joining the side with negotiations ongoing.
