Magaji Musa Majia, the spokesman for the Kano State Police Command has been transferred to Damaturu, the Yobe state capital by the new Inspector-General of Police,  Mohammed Adamu.

In a letter dated Tuesday, January 22, 2019 and addressed to both Commissioners of Police in Kano and Yobe states, the IGP ordered Majia’s redeployment with immediate.

“The Inspector-General of Police has ordered the transfer of AP/No. 86223 SP Magaji Musa Majiya from Kano State Command to Yobe State Command with immediate effect,” the letter read.

“Warn and release the officer to proceed to his new command accordingly, please,” added the letter, which was signed by AIG Taiwo Lakanu, the Force Secretary on behalf of the IGP.
