The Kano State Hisbah Board has terminated the appointment of one of its top officials, Sani Nasidi Uba, popularly known as Sani Remo for “causing embarrassment to the command.”

The committee set by the Commander General, Ustaz Harun Muhammad Ibn Sina, has indicted Uba having found him guilty of a serious misconduct.

Uba , who is known to be at the forefront of arresting prostitutes and other wayward girls, was in Feburay this year arrested with a married woman in a hotel room at Sabon Gari area of the state capital.

The official then told Kano State Police Command that the woman in question was his niece who was having issues with her husband.

According to him as reported by Sahelin Times , he kept her in a hotel room pending when the issues would be resolved.
