Kano Emirate has canceled the traditional Durbar celebration during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations in the state.

This was disclosed by Madakin Kano, Alhaji Yusuf Nabahani in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement the Dubar was cancel due to   third wave of the COVID-19 and in compliance with the government directives.

Nabahani said the Emir, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero directed him to inform all the district heads of the development, Sahelian Times reports.
