His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR received the report of the Yusuf Maitama Sule Centre Politics and Governance committee which was headed by Prof Attahiru Jega, and was represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Bashir Othman Tofa.

In a statement by Salihu Tanko Yakai, the Special Adviser on Media to Kano State Government, he said the Centre which is expected to house a Museum, and other units including a mini market among others, is aimed at immortalizing the Late Elderstatesman Alhaji Dr Yusuf Maitama Sule, and its also expected to be situated at the residence of late Danmasanin Kano, along Emir’s Palace Road Kano, and is expected to be completed within 3yrs.
