Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano Malam Sule Yahaya Hamma has resigned his appointment with immediate effect.

This resignation of his appointment was contained in a letter addressed to Secretary to Kano State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji and dated June 12, 2020.

reports that according to the letter, Sule Yahaya Hamma said ‘’ I wish to refer to the extensive discussion I had with you over the recent matters and developments concerning the Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano. I hereby notify you that I tender my resignation as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the university for personal reasons.’’

In the letter reported by Politics Digest, he sincerely appreciated the Government for the support and cooperation he enjoyed and hope that the happy and cordial relationship will continue.
