Tsohon shugaban Najeriya, Goodluck Jonathan, ya bayyana yadda gwamnatinsa ta shawo kan yajin aikin kungiyar malaman jami’a ta ASUU na tsawon wata hudu a cikin kwana daya lokacin mulkinsa.
Jonathan ya bayyana hakan ne a jiya Laraba a Abuja yayin bikin cika shekara 70 na Bishop Mathew Hassan Kuka, shugaban babban cocin katolika ta Sokoto wadda cibiyarsa ta shirya.
BBC ta kalato daga Jaridar Daily Trust cewa malaman jami’a na yajin aiki tun watan Febrairu kan wasu bukatu da gwamnatin tarayya ta kasa biya musu.
“Al’umma da muke rayuwa a cikinta na da fadi, muna magana a kan yajin aiki ASUU, lokacin da nake mulki, ASUU ta shiga yajin aiki na wata hudu, kwamitoci daban-daban sun yi zaman tattaunawa amma ba a samu mafita ba,” in ji Jonathan.
Tsohon shugaban ya ce da suka ga abun yana nema ya gagara, sai shi da mataimakinsa tare da babban attoni janar da sakataren gwamnatin tarayya da ministan ilimi suka jagoranci wani zama, inda a cikin daren aka cimma yarjejeniya da ASUU.
“Da farko na dauka saboda zuwa na wajen za a daidaita a kan lokaci, sai dai mun shafe tsawon dare muna tattaunawa kafin mu karkare da kuma janye yajin aikin da 5:30 na safe,” a cewar Jonathan.
