Two Premier League clubs, Wolves and Southampton, have parted ways with their managers following recent defeats.
Wolves terminated the contract of Gary O’Neil and his backroom staff on Sunday, after the team’s 2-1 loss to Ipswich Town at home.Wolves Chairman, Jeff Shi, expressed gratitude to O’Neil, saying: “We’re very grateful to Gary for all of his effort, dedication and hard work during his time at the club, and we wish him and his team the best of luck for the future.”
Meanwhile, Southampton sacked their manager, Russell Martin, on Sunday night, following a 5-0 thrashing by Tottenham Hotspur.
Martin had guided the Saints to promotion last year but struggled to replicate that success this season.
