Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal has declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will rally behind whoever emerges as its presidential candidate in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking to reporters, Lawal emphasized that unity and collective purpose are at the heart of the ADC’s strategy, noting that “whoever the party chooses will receive full support to ensure victory at the polls.”

His statement comes amid growing momentum within the ADC, which has continued to attract prominent figures and political movements ahead of the 2027 race.

Lawal reiterated the party’s commitment to offering a credible alternative to Nigerians, stressing the importance of teamwork, inclusivity, and a shared vision for national development.
