The national leader of All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has commended Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for strengthening the fight against corruption in the state.
The former Lagos state Governor commended Ganduje on Sunday while commissioning the restructured office of Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission.
Tinubu said “My dear Nigerians and the lots of uswho are looking forward to a prosperous corruption-free and accountability in Nigeria and Africa, today is dedicated to that objective.”
The APC stalwart added that the building and similar edifices could play an important role in ensuring that Nigeria becomes a respected member of international community “free from the burden of corruption”.
During his address, Governor Ganduje commended the chairman of the commission, Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, assuring that he would always stand for the victory of the commission at all times.
Tinubu is in Kano to celebrate his 12th colloquium, an event organised for his birthday and he paid a visit to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.
