The Kano State Governorship candidate of People’s Democratic Party for Kano state 2019 Engr. Abba K. Yusuf applauded the efforts of the Party’s leadership in conducting a peaceful ward Congress in the 484 political wards in the state.
Abba K Yusuf was speaking to newsmen shortly after the ward Congress election in Diso-Chiranchi ward of Gwale Local Government Area.
He said despite the broad daylight robbery on the mandate of the party during the 2019 elections, members of People’s Democratic Party keep hope alive by coming out to discharge their civic rights in choosing a new leadership of the party at wards levels through out the State.
“I am impressed by the turnout of our party members who are deeply committed in seeing one united PDP and whose interest in the development of our State remains unshakable. I congratulate those who won this election and console those who did not scale through with assurance that everybody is going to be carried along, until our effort to salvage the State from the present tyranny by the so-called State Government.
Abba K. Yusuf also appreciates the state caretaker committee of the party, whose sagacity in providing an excellent stewardship before, during and after the conduct of the ward Congress is vividly seen.
Equally, His Excellency Engr. Abba K. Yusuf called on both National and State leadership of the party to sustain the tempo, especially during the forthcoming Local and State Congresses.
On a final note, His Excellency Engr. Abba K. Yusuf urged both our teeming supporters in Kano State and other supporters throughout the country to continue praying to Almighty Allah for justice to prevail on the injustices meted out on us by the power that be.
