His Excellency Engr. Abba K. Yusuf, on behalf of the previous administration of Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso had sent a letter to TEC, the engineering company that constructed the Kofar Nassarawa Flyover, to conduct a forensic investigation on the Quality and Stability of the bridge from completion to date. This is in view of the allegation of Structural Defects detected on the Flyover bridge by the Kano State Government.
In response to his letter, the company (TEC) has restated its assurance that the bridge was constructed in good quality in accordance with engineering specifications and design, and the structural work is guaranteed for a minimum of 80years, starting from the date of completion in 2015.
The company’s engineers and other professionals have made their investigation and confirmed that the bridge is still in a very good condition, with no structural defect detected.
