Kano State Government has been commended for its efforts at reducing the number of tricycle operators within the State to ensure a friendly environment.

The Chairman, Niger Road Motorcycle Dealers Association, Alhaji Ado Isa Aladiyo made the commendation during an interview with The Triumph in his office, saying that the government’s initiative will assist in reducing crime across the State.

He, however, said the number of tricycles in the State is increasing daily, which causes road congestion, commending KAROTA officials for their efforts to stabilize the situation.

On the benefits to the Association, Aladiyo further said the action will provide an opportunity to the members to improve their business, but called on the manufacturing companies to stabilise the prices of the commodities, the Triumph reports..

He expressed his readiness to continue to assist security agencies toward tackling security challenges in the country, adding that motorcycle dealers in the State have good synergy with security agencies to promote peace.
