Flying Eagles head coach Paul Aigbogun has released a 21-man list for the upcoming Africa U-20 Cup of Nations slated for Niger Republic.
Prominent among the invited players are Kano Pillars striker Adamu Alhassan and Igoh Ogbu, who plies his trade with Rosenburg FC in Norway, as well as Afeez Aremu of IK Stat, Norway.
Others are goalkeepers Akpan Udoh (Unattached), Olawale Oremade of Oasis FC) and Detan Ogundare of Kogi United.
The defenders are Mike Zaruma of Plateau United, Ikouwem Utin from Enyimba FC, and Olasunkanmi Aliyu from Emmanuel Amuneke Academy.
Also listed are midfielders Peter Eletu from Prince Kazeem Academy, Quadri Liameed of 36 Lions, Aniekeme Okon who plays for Akwa United and Kano Pillars’ Jamil Muhammad.
Coach Aigbogun also named forwards Yahaya Nazifi of Sonderjyske FC in Denmark, Ibrahim Aliyu of Oasis FC, Adeshina Gata of Wikki Tourists of Bauchi, Ibrahim Abubakar of Plateau United, Onyekachi Paschal from Vaxjo United in Sweden and Maxwell Effiom, who plays for Enyimba FC in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
