The National Examinations Council has reschedule the papers meant for Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week.
The rescheduling of the papers is contained in a statement by the Head of Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani.
It says, the papers are now scheduled to be written on the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth of November.
The statement adds that a new time table for the affected papers would be made available.
The changes became necessary, due to the security challenges in different parts of the country, as some states have already imposed curfew and closed schools.
The statement further says, with the current situation, it will be difficult to move examination materials across the country.
The council hopes to continue with the examinations next week Tuesday.
