NASCON Allied Industries PLC, a subsidiary of Dangote Industries Limited, on Wednesday launched new cooking seasonings in Kano State.

DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the newly introduced cooking seasonings include, Classic Seasoning cube, curry powder and stew mix.

Speaking at the event, held at Afficent Event Centre in Kano, Executive Director, Commercial NASCON Allied Plc, Fatima Dangote said, said they decided to unveil the product in Kano because it is the biggest market for cooking seasonings in the country.

She added that, the company has also key distributors in Kano, who give the needed support to push the product to thrive in the market.

She said the classic seasoning cubes and stew mix were created with a special blend of herbs and spices to give meals unique taste and aroma.

According to her, the  new innovation was created after years of consumer-led research and development, urging distributors, marketers, eateries and consumers to immediately patronise it.

Describing the seasoning as “Karshen Magana”,  and second to none in the country, Mrs Dangote urged women at home to try the new seasoning cubes, stew mix and curry powder, as they would ensure meal moments are great moments.

Mrs Dangote also assured that in time, the products would be launched in other parts of the country, adding that despite the high innovative quality, it is affordable and available with various promotional items to be enjoined by distributors and consumers.

Also speaking at the event, the Group Managing Director of NASCON Allied Plc Paul Farrer assured that the new product is a high margin product that would help ensure customers remain profitable , describing the new product as premium but affordable.
