President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Party, APC is leading Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP with 1,004011 votes from the results of sixteen states and the Federal Capital Territory announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The Presidential election was held on Saturday across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT.

Buhari has polled a total of 6,153,880 votes while Atiku scored 5,149,869.

Collation of results is expected to resume at 3:00pm after INEC chair, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu announced an hour break.
