The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Kano has upheld the election of the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.

Dismissing the application of the petitioner and candidate of the PDP, Abba Yusuf, the tribunal chairman, Halima Shamaki, said INEC was right to declare the March 9 election inconclusive, Daily Nigerian reports.
