Musa Umar, an in-law to ADC to President Muhammadu Buhari, has been rescued from kidnappers by a combined team of police and State Security Service, SSS, on Tuesday.

He was abducted on May 1 in his Daura hometown.

Mr Umar, a former customs officer, is the father of Fatima Musa, wife of Mohammed Abubakar, Buhari’s Aide de Camp, ADC.

Sources told DAILY NIGERIAN that he was rescued at Samegu area off Madobi Road in Kano after a fierce growth gun duel that lasted several hours.
