All is not well between Muhuyi Magaji and the governor’s family since February. Muhuyi is alleging interference and intimidation from government officials but he has not mentioned names.

Magaji said the government “did not cater for the needs of the agency”.

He said this made him launch an appeal fund for “hundred thousand dollars for the commission”.

Why is Muhuyi saying these after the government commitment of a hundred million for the renovation of the commission? I think he cannot do that without the support of the governor and the government.

The governor has given him so much opportunities than every appointee of the government. His agency is a darling to Ganduje.

I think it is better he stop saying all these, if he is doing that to attract sympathy from the general public then it won’t work for him.

People of the commercial hub are not happy with the Ganduje administration from all angle.

I expected Magaji to resign since the issue of the dollar video was at stake, he refused citing reasons that he won’t betray the person that make him to that seat.

He cannot investigate the governor because of his immunity. So many reasons but that puts his integrity to question.

Kano Anti-Corruption Commission is one of the best in the country and it can’t be that without the support of the governor. Magaji has testified this in several interview he granted to the media.

If you’re facing enormous challenges from government officials then what are you waiting for? Resign and leave the job for them or else they will continue to be persecuting you like they started.

If you’re serving under the Ganduje administration, you must avoid one thing to save your job and that’s:

Be loyal to the state first lady

Be loyal to the governor’s favorite children and say yes to their command.

Don’t fight them and if you dare do so, you know the consequences and that’s exactly what’s happening between Muhuyi, the government and the first family.

Muhuyi was in good time with the family in the first place; i heard that one of the governor’s son was instrumental to his appointment as the commission boss until they parted ways recently.

How can you investigate a project that’s handled by one of the governor’s most favorite daughter and think it will end well with you? Never!

As the fight is ongoing, i know Ganduje will play Muhuyi like he did to Emir Sanusi and at the end expose him before sacking him from office.
