This list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the ‘If’ crooner, Davido. David Adeleke. The son of business mogul, Adedeji Adeleke and politician Ademola Adeleke, Davido has gone on to become one of the biggest acts to come out of Nigeria.
DJ Cuppy
Perhaps one of the most popular female disc jockey’s in Nigeria is Florence Otedola or DJ Cuppy. But before making big bucks for herself in the music scene, she was already born to the affluent family of Femi Otedola, the chairman of Forte Oil and it goes without saying, she was already very comfortable before becoming what we know her today as, DJ Cuppy.
L.A.X
L.A.X made a name for himself after he was signed to Wizkid’s label Star Boy Entertainment in 2013. But little to many know that he was actually born to the wealthy family to billionaire Taiwo Afolabi, the founder of oil and gas exporting company SIFAX Group.
Falz
Falz initially followed the footsteps of his renowned lawyer and activist father, Femi Falana, studying Law at a UK university. But along the line, Folarin Falana decided to channel his talents into acting and rapping, which has made him a lot of money, despite coming from a rich family already.
Naeto C
Although Naeto C has taken a back seat in music, he dropped many hits in his prime such as ‘10 over 10,’‘5 and 6’ and ‘Kini Big Deal.’ Naeto chukwu Chikwe happens to be the son of Kema Chikwe the former Minister of Aviation. It goes without saying that his life started out with a lot of fortune and affluence.
